Cookie policy
The cookies and similar technologies konexus.ai uses, why, and how to turn them off.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job in a different way. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
The short version
- We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people use our website so we can improve it.
- We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to profile you or follow you around the web.
- You can turn analytics off at any time on this page, and we will stop.
The cookies we use
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor apart from another so we can count visits | 2 years |
| _ga_DSE6EFL0M5 | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | 2 years |
| envoy_analytics_off | Konexus (local storage) | Remembers that you have turned analytics off | Until you clear your browser storage |
We do not set any other cookies. Our video is hosted on our own site and sets no cookies. If you arrive through one of our campaign links, the tag in the link is only read when you send us a Five-Prospect Preview request. We do not store it on your device.
Why we do not ask for consent first
UK law changed on 5 February 2026, when the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 amended the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Websites no longer need consent for cookies used only to collect statistics about how a site is used, so that the site can be improved, as long as visitors are told clearly and can object easily. The Information Commissioner's Office published its final guidance on this on 29 April 2026.
Our analytics fall within this exception because:
- We use them only to produce aggregate statistics about how our website is used, so we can improve it
- We do not use them for advertising, to build a profile of you, or to target content at you
- Google acts as our processor under its data processing terms. We have set up Google Analytics with advertising features, Google signals and data sharing for Google's own products turned off
- We tell you about them here, and you can turn them off below
Our setting that remembers your choice is strictly necessary to respect that choice.
Turn analytics off
Turning analytics off stops Google Analytics loading on this browser. It takes effect straight away and stays in place until you turn it back on or clear your browser storage.
You can also use Google's own opt-out browser add-on, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of some websites from working.
What Google does with analytics data
Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the device and browser you use, the site that referred you and your approximate location. Google processes this on our behalf to produce reports for us. Google may process the data in the United States, under the safeguards described in our privacy policy. You can read more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the date at the top. If we ever add cookies that need your consent, such as advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them.
